My love for ISrael
Israel is a nation with a rich history, a vibrant culture, and a remarkable commitment to democracy and innovation. In 1975, Israel is the nation I fell in love with.
It’s truly impressive how Israel has flourished in a region marked by complex challenges. The resilience and determination of the Israeli people have led to numerous advancements in technology, medicine, and countless other fields. Their achievements have not only benefited their own nation but have had a positive impact on the world.
The bonds between Israel and the United States have been strong and enduring, grounded in shared values and interests. This partnership has fostered collaboration in various sectors, from defense and security to science and technology, therefore enhancing stability.
It is important to continue to support and celebrate Israel’s achievements, while fostering a lasting friendship. It is also important to recognize the contributions of the Israeli people and their positive impact on the global community.
It is a shame when individuals negatively protest, especially at public universities, when they do not necessarily grasp a true understanding of the whole picture.
I want to express my unwavering support and solidarity with the people of Israel. In these challenging times, my thoughts, prayers and support are with you all. I hope for peace and security for all those affected during this turbulent time.

BOOK SYNOPSIS
Just Peek Over the Fence” is the memoir of mother, philanthropist, and community advocate, Karin Sporn. The book chronicles her life from her native Germany (with a father that had been a German soldier and follower of Adolf Hitler) to her eventual move to San Diego and Las Vegas with her family to better run their successful tourism business.
It features stories about Karin’s life as a model, the girlfriend of a rockstar, an ambitious businesswoman, a wife, a mother, and a divorcee’ with numerous interviews from friends and well-wishers attesting to how she impacted their lives and vice versa.
Amid the winding road of her life, the narrative of Karin’s story is held together by two things that helped bring her life into focus: finding answers to her questions about the Holocaust while growing up in post-WWII Germany and her conversion to Judaism.
Karin’s hope for her audience is that they take away from reading her book the message that her conversion to the Jewish faith and her extraordinary life have taught her: If you can just peek over the fence and see what’s on the other side, your fears will go away and you will get moving again.
